" f T 1 Evelyn M. Lee Evelyn M. Lee Evelyn M. Lee, 75, of Salinas, died Thursday, Nov. 15, 2001, at SunRidge Care and Rehabilitation Rehabilitation in Salinas following a lengthy illness. She was born on July 21, 1926, in Minneapolis, Minn., and had lived in Salinas for 48 years. She retired as a nurse from Salinas Valley Memorial Hos- Hos- pital after working for the hospital from 1953 to 1987. She also was a volunteer volunteer for the Salinas Valley Memorial Hospital Service League. She enjoyed reading, gardening and spending time with her family. Memberships: Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Survivors: Husband of 47 years, William P. "Bill" Lee of Salinas; daughters, Kathleen Lee of Palo Alto and Patricia Atwood of Salinas; son, Michael Lee of Salinas; brothers, Robert Mad-vig Mad-vig Mad-vig of Twain Harte and Donald Madvig of Door County, Wis. Visitation: 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday, Nov. 19, at the Struve and Laporte Funeral Home, 41 W. San Luis St., Salinas. Vigil: 7 p.m., Monday, Nov. 19, at the mortuary chapel. Services: Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m., Tuesday, Nov. 20, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Burial: Will follow at Garden of Memories Memorial Park, 768 Abbott St., Salinas.
