Reverend Emanuel S. Murray, of Salinas, home to be with his Lord and Savior Thursday, gust 6, 2015. He was 101 years old. He attributed his long life to the commands as written in Exodus “Honor your father and your mother, your days may be long upon the land which LORD your God is giving you.” By the of God he has been welcomed into the kingdom Heaven. Even in the final hours of his life he his focus towards praying for others. Pastor still displayed a very active sense of humor as as continuing to impart words of wisdom to who visited. His value of family meant having ly gatherings of which his final moments was of singing praises to God with his family him. He was excited to see his wife of 72 years, (Huffman), who preceded him in death and his girl, Esther, who went to be with Jesus as a He is survived by his children, Donna Wright, and Rosalie Murray, Peggy and Dale Scheff; his brothers, Leon and Bill Murray; his six grandchil dren; 11 great grandchildren; and six great great grandchildren. Viewing will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 2015, at Bayside Community Mortuary, 1610 Buena St., Seaside. A Celebration of Life will be held at 11 a.m. Aug. 14, 2015, at Monterey Bay Christian 1184 Hilby Ave., Seaside; burial following at Memorial Park, 1915 Ord Grove Ave., Seaside.
