police brass, officers plead not guilty to charges in brawl The Associated Press SAN FRANCISCO Police Chief Earl Sanders and six top aides pleaded innocent Tuesday to charges they obstructed the probe into a street brawl that first involved three off-duty officers but spiraled into an alleged cover-up that has left the department in disarray.
