3, 1913, in Little Rock, Ark. She was a produce packer and had lived in Salinas for 70 years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Earnest Blevins; and children, Bar- bara Jean Blevins, Earnest Blevins Jr. and Bobbie Jo Fanning. Survivors: She is survived by six grandchildren, 13 greatgrandchildren and nine greatgreat-grandchildren.

Alisal Salinas. SALINAS Stanley C. Payton Stanley C. Payton, 54, of Salinas, passed away Sunday, June 4, 2006, at Pacific Coast Care Center in Salinas. He was born July 12, 1951, in Hanford.

He liked to participate in sports and dirt-bike Stanley C. riding. He Payton enjoyed watching his son play baseball, and more recently he thoroughly enjoyed spending time with his grandson. He will be missed dearly. He was preceded in death by his father, John Payton; son, Michael Wray; and aunt, Joyce Burton.

Survivors: Mother, Nettye Payton of Salinas; son, Ryan Payton of Salinas; wife, Rosemary Payton of the family home; aunts, Eva Williams, Celeste Collier and Vera Davis; daughter-in-law Karla Armenta (Wray); grandson, Joshua Michael Wray; and numerous cousins. His dogs, Ginger and Chewy, were his favorite pets. Lupe was surrounded by his loving family at the time of his death. He was loved by many and will be missed by all. Military Service: U.S. Army.

He was preceded in death by both parents, Pedro Sr. and Josephine Rios; son, Richard; sister, Enedina Perez; and son-in-law, Paul Lorono. Rios, 70, of Salinas, passed away Sunday, June 4, 2006, at Stanford Medical Center from a sudden illness. He was born Oct. 22, 1935, in Calexico. Lupe was a great father, Guadalupe Y. friend and Rios husband.

He touched everyone's life he came in contact with. He had a great Rios tuary. SALINAS Holly Newton Holly Newton, 50, of Salinas, died Saturday, April 8, 2006. She was born Oct. 4, 1955, in Madison, Wis.

Frank Muther Frank Muther SALINAS Frank Muther Frank Muther, 86, of Salinas, passed away Thursday, June 1, 2006, at his home in Salinas. He was born Jan.

22, 1920, in Oakland. Frank graduated from Salinas High School and attended Hartnell College. He was a dairy farmer with the Blanco Dairy since 1946. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, skeet and trap shooting, water and snow skiing and traveling the world with his wife, Edna. He enjoyed sharing his story of survival during the Bataan Death March in World War II with high school students, clubs and anyone willing to learn.

More recently he enjoyed gardening in the rose garden at Villa Serra and networking with friends via the Internet. He was presented the State Farmer award by Governor Rolph in Sacramento in 1938, and had the Grand Champion Swine at the California State Fair. He also had a research grant through U.C. Davis with Dr. Shalmon and Bob Leonard on mastitis control and prevention at Blanco Dairy.

He raised significant funds for the May 2006 dedication of the Bataan Memorial Half-Track at the Boronda Adobe. Organizations: California Dairy Institute 4-H leader for 15 years, vice president and secretary of Producers Market Milk Monterey County Cattleman's California Beef Council delegate, California Dairyman's Central Coast Holstein Assn, Dairy Shrine Assn, Cow Testing Assn. (past president), Farm Bureau (past president), DHIA (past president), Veterans of Foreign Wars Spreckels, American MARINA Klara Warg Klara Warg, 86, of Marina, passed away Saturday, May 27, 2006, after a lengthy illness. She was born in February 1920 in Frankfurt, Germany. She and her husband, Arthur Klara Warg Warg, were married in 1949.

She became a United States citizen and was an Army wife for 26 years while her husband served our country. When Arthur retired in 1969, they settled in Marina. Klara was dearly loved by all, family, and her she dearly friends loved and her American Legion family. We will miss her. SALINAS Mary B. George B. George, 87, of SaliMary nas, passed away, Saturday, June 3, 2006, in Salinas. She was born Oct. 1, 1918, in Punxsutawney, Pa.

Beloved wife of the late Lawrence J. the May Co. Corp. for 30 George, Mary worked for years and was vice president of communications for its stores in Pennsylvania, West Virginia and Virginia. Mary and her late husband moved to Hollister in 1980, where she became active in Sacred Heart Parish as a reader at church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence J. George; and son, Lawrence J. George Jr. Memberships: Mary was a member of the Small Faith Group, the Altar Society, and a volunteer for many years at Sacred Heart Bingo. In addition she belonged to the Y.L.I and St.

Vincent DePaul Society.
